Copenhagen name comes from the Low German language that means commerce. This city originates from harbor and commerce. In the early 10th century this city started from a small village and a royal family made a castle. After expanding this city in 1445 Copenhagen became the capital city of Denmark. 

This city faced many ups and downs in their time but still it grew and now has become the most visited city in Denmark.
