In this bootcamp, we will help you take your bachata beyond simply just leading and following. 💃🏻🕺🏻

We will teach you new solo styling, partner work combinations and leading/following techniques. At the same time, the focus will be on helping you dancing all of that material to the fullest. 💫

We will be learning, practicing, and training the following things:

❇️ How to style in partnerdance while staying connected
❇️ How to find/create/use the space for self expression
❇️ How to share the initiative for the dance
❇️ How to follow the follower
❇️ How to ask and prepare the leader for freedom

And we will be addressing common pitfalls in social dance like:

🔺 Mechanically executing movements without dancing
🔺 Not being present and connected during the dance
🔺 Falling into puppet and puppeteering rather than dancing

💡 THE PROGRAM 💡
In order to achieve this we have put together a 5 (+1) hour progressive program with 4 highly experienced teachers for you, to ensure learning, practising and training these qualities from all angles.

1️⃣ A concept class with exercises to set the foundation

2️⃣ A solo class with movements for partner work (Styling)

3️⃣ Partner work class with Benjamin & Sara

4️⃣ Partner work class with Gadir & Liza

5️⃣ A practice session for those interested

📈 LEVEL 📈
Since this bootcamp is conceptual, the material will be presented at different levels of technical difficulty. The classes will be split up in 2 groups. One Improver and one Intermediate, so that you get to practice material at your own level and with equal peers.

💃 YOUR TEACHERS 🕺

LIZA 💃🏻
Liza is a world class bachata dancer and instructor from Ukraine. Dancing, teaching, performing and judging nationally and internationally. Her heart belongs to dancing and especially to bachata. She believes that technique, musicality and connection are the main ingredients for a perfect social dance and you can always learn something new or open new horizons in dancing. Easy to learn, a lifetime to master, as they say.
She started her dancing journey when she was 3 years old and was trying out different styles until she found social dances 7 years ago.
Cuban salsa was the first to win her heart but after some time she developed her love for bachata which stays there until now.
After winning national championships in bachata and cuban salsa, she partnered up with Chicho around 3,5 years ago and switched mostly to bachata. Together they created a new dancing school (Latino Dance Company) where they and other teachers taught both bachata and salsa and organized events in the capital of Ukraine. They taught in numerous festivals around the world.

GADIR 🕺
Gadir Al-Saadi is the founder of ‘Train Bachata Like A Dancer’ methodology. He is a bachata dancer, performer and teacher trained in all styles of bachata.
He is educated in dance from Sceneindgagen Dance School and is also an official Bachata Sensual Instructor Level 2, by the founders of the style (Korke & Judith). He has also taken classes, trained and received private instruction from many of the worlds best bachata dancers.
He has taught local and international classes and events, performed both nationally and internationally, and been a medalist in a couple of social dance competitions.

💃 Benjamin & Sara 🕺
Benjamin & Sara is a bachata sensual couple from Copenhagen.
Their focus is connection, musicality, technique and organic sensual body movement.
Between the two of them they share a broad palette of experiences in their formational dance journey, ranging from two different musical backgrounds, interests in other dance styles, show performances, winning social dance competitions, to countless congresses and private classes with top bachata couples.
They started working professionally together in October 2022 and quickly became popular. Since then they have taught weekly classes and given numerous workshops both in Denmark and internationally.
Their love for the art of social dancing shows in the way they dance and teach – inspiring and helping students to find their creativity and perfect their skills on the dance floor.
On top of this, they’re part of the Latin Vibes team, with whom they organise events and teach weekly classes in Copenhagen.
